We are both a maritime pilot and a maritime expert. These complementary professions allow us to provide the best services for our clients.

Our missions as a Marine Surveyor consist of :

– Assessing the cause and amount of damage to ships, ports and maritime structures, goods transported and the marine environment

– Acting on behalf of ship classification societies

We are first and foremost a specialist in the maritime world, which enables us to express an expert opinion on maritime technology issues.

The marine surveyor can work in a company or as a freelancer, or even as an employee. We work as a company.

As a maritime surveyor, we work at the request of clients in the maritime world.

We can also take part in contradictory expertises, amicable or not, and in certain judicial cases.

We are essentially a specialist in the maritime world with solid knowledge in this field, which allows us to give expert opinions without being a lawyer and as such we cannot say what the law is.

It is important to remember that professional associations have established a code of ethics which they monitor.
